Dear Governor, and members of our California State Assembly and State Senate.
As Governor, you are responsible for administering and enforcing the laws of California. As elected members of the California State Assembly and State Senate, you have the principle law-making powers in our state. This petition is to address an unnecessary impediment and unfair burden for California voters to vote for eligible Independent candidates of their choice.
This petition requires your immediate attention before our California's June 5th, 2018 Primary. We are Independent voters that know that the unnecessary impediment is intentional and the unfair burden is willful.
We are Independent voters that do not want to align ourselves with an established political party. We are Independent voters because many of us in California are voters who want to vote for candidates on issues rather than from a political ideology or partisanship. We are Independent voters who do not have or want long-standing loyalty to, or identification with, an established political party, such as the Democrat Party, Republican Party or the American Independent Party.
Unfortunately, our California Secretary of State has repeatedly and deliberately listed me as another person as "unknown". I have never belonged to the Democrat, Republican or the American Independent Party. I am 100% self-funded and Independent. Below is the URL link for registered candidate list that is deliberately difficult to find online.
Are you an independent voter? You aren't if you checked this box. The American Independent Party is California’s largest third party. A poll shows 73% may be in it by mistake. Are you one of them?
Genuine election reform starts with an informed citizenry.
I will modernize, secure and expand our voting rights.
We have to make our government what it was meant to be, a representative form of government.
I openly challenge my fellow gubernatorial candidates like Democrats John Chiang, Delaine Eastin, Gavin Newsom, Klement Tinaj, Antonio Villaraigosa, David Asem, Michael Bracamontes, Ted Crisell, Harmesh Kumar, and Republicans Travis Allen, John H. Cox, Brian Allen and Libertarian Zoltan Istvan and others, for a live debate on Facebook Live, Youtube Live & Twitter Periscope on how we can work together to have a replacement to DACA for our young adults.
It’s time for both Democrats and Republicans to stop playing politics with our undocumented California children, and find real-world genuine legal solutions that will compel our United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate to pass a comprehensive legislation. I propose a resolution that will offer legal residency that will lead to a controlled, safe and reasonable pathway to citizenship. Justice delayed is justice denied.
