Outdated CA. Lt. Gov. website, just how dangerous is it?

Time and time again, elected officials, however well-meaning, from both the Democrat and Republican Parties, have jeopardized our California’s State’s web portal security, privacy, and critical information. With more and more confidential information being stored digitally by our government, at the local, state and federal level, security flaws must be detected, adequately addressed and correctly fixed without delay.

From deliberate foreign interference in our elections in 2016 to the 143 million U.S. consumers’ personal information exposed by the Equifax’s massive data breach, both the Democrat and Republican Parties and their candidates, have repeatedly demonstrated disdain, distrust, and aversion for technologists, geeks, and hackers.

Now is the time like never before to hold an open, public and online California Gubernatorial Forum on technology, and all the related topics like cybersecurity, Reseach and Development, cryptocurrencies, and more.

There are so many errors, security flaws, and defects in our state’s technology infrastructure, under good conscience I will not list all of them here, that would seriously endanger our public safety, privacy, and security. One major error, security flaws, and defect I will demonstrate here, just to give you, the California voter, an idea how blatantly outdated, weak and vulnerable our California’s technology infrastructure is with my fellow Gubernatorial candidate, Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom. His web portal, the one with the Google ID UA-36964590-1, that we taxpayers pay for, is still using Adobe Flash. Flash has a total number of vulnerabilities of around 1,045 and still counting. If that wasn’t bad enough, the web portal isn’t even mobile friendly!

Kuala Lumpur is set to be the first city to implement smart city solutions in 2018″

Having an outdated government website that makes our government state resources vulnerable to cyber attacks sets a dangerous, reckless and careless precedent. According to MIT, China’s AI startups scored more funding than America’s last year. I have the great honor and privilege of meeting and talking with our veterans, and I remember them telling me that “The most dangerous thing in the world is a Second Lieutenant with a map and a compass.” What our veterans explained to me was that while a Second Lieutenant is well-meaning, not willing to carefully listen to more experienced soldiers with combat real-world experience was dangerous, reckless and careless. Likewise, I feel it is dangerous, reckless and careless for our politicians to claim technology expertise, know-how, and understanding just because they attached their name to a book, authored by another person no less, on technology for propaganda purposes.

The book “Citizenville: How to Take the Town Square Digital and Reinvent Government”, by Gavin Newsom and ‎Lisa Dickey, is an example of how well-meaning, committed and hardworking elected officials, like Gavin Newsom, I believe he is, cannot be the most capable person to be California’s next Governor in today’s fast-paced technologically centric economy, society, and world. California, in particular, our state Capitol in Sacramento, needs a technology-focused, real-world experienced and forward-thinking Governor to ensure California remains the technology leader for today and tomorrow. I am asking for your vote on June 5th, 2018 to vote for the FUTURE by voting FUJI.

Thank You, God Bless Our Great State of California

PS- Hey Gavin, please, please, please be a “good digital citizen”, fix our taxpayer website so it does not comprise our other government websites on CA.GOV. It will take about two minutes or less to fix your personal Lt. Gov. web portal security vulnerability, that endangers the entire WWW.CA.GOV Internet site.

Lt.Gov. Gavin Newsom

Special Note: And for goodness sake, please periodically change the login page at California’s Department of Technology Services website “https://cdt.ca.gov/wp-login.php” to “https://cdt.ca.gov/whateveryouwanthereexample.php”. It’s accessible from the Internet by literally anyone or anywhere that compromises our state’s technology infrastructure.

Intentional Voter Fraud by State Government?

Unfortunately, our California Secretary of State has repeatedly and deliberately listed me as another person as “unknown”. I have never belonged to the Democrat, Republican or the American Independent Party. I am 100% self-funded and Independent.  Below is the URL link for registered candidate list that is deliberately difficult to find online.

Genuine election reform starts with an informed citizenry. I will modernize, secure and expand our voting rights. My solution to stop and deter voter fraud is as follows:

Elections, Voter & Candidate Services

  • proposed Internet site in beta testing for a faster, more efficient and easier to use election site: www.election.services
  • proposed Internet site in beta testing for prompt, secure and easy voter portal to register and vote online: www.voter.services
  • proposed Internet site in beta testing for candidates to be listed so voters can research all candidates: www.candidate.services

We have to make our government what it was meant to be, a representative form of government.

Constitutional Right To Life

As an Independent, as some of you may know, this campaign will also require an energetic and organized grassroots movement. I have already spoken with many of you, have carefully listened to your concerns, and I am eager to work with you.

I have family and friends that are Democrat and Republican. I have never belonged to the Republican nor Democrat permanent political establishments. I had openly challenged both Republicans and Democrats as an Independent candidate, when I knew and experienced injustices, and felt the clear and present danger to our economy, families, national security, environment, communities and democracy.

Furthermore, I am paying for my election for California Governor with my own money. Because I have witnessed and experienced the influence of too much money in our election process that is undermining, weakening and harming our democracy and integrity of our election process.

I know and appreciate the hard work that is needed to run technology start-ups, a Christian educational non-governmental organization and a Gubernatorial campaign for California. More importantly, I know as an educator what is it like to lose my high school and middle school students to inner-city violence. This election and my commitment to smaller class size, school safety, and other campaign issues are personal for me, the parents and children I am privileged to serve.

I am and always have been a self-funded Independent candidate at the local, state and Federal level. I have not and will not ask for money from hardworking Californians like you to do politics as usual. I will never accept money, directly or indirectly, from super PACs, banks, unions, lobbyists, or foreign governments. I am running for California Governor with my money, so why can’t the other candidates do the same? I have never taken any money from special interests like lobbyists because the ordinary voter like you, and your concerns and expectations are my special interests.

I’m here to fight to keep our communities safe, prosperous and keep California the most exceptional place to live, work, study and build a future. Technology innovation, security, and prosperity is a top priority for me. For this reason, I created WWW.DEPARTMENT.TECHNOLOGY because we now live in a world with a new form of a Cold War that I call a Hot War.

I am Fuji, your Independent self-funded candidate for California Governor in 2018. I am here to tell you the complete truth, ask the difficult questions that are not being asked by State Assemblyman Travis Allen, State Treasurer John Chiang, attorney John Cox, former state Superintendent of Schools Delaine Eastin, Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom, and former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. I am here as an Independent to forge a new bipartisanship state government to work hard with Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, and Independents alike, to get the job done.

I am first asking for your prayers, and secondly, for your vote on June 5th, 2018 to have our government return to what it was meant to be, a representative form of government inspired and moved by the People, from the People, and for the People. Thank you, and God Bless our families, cities, and California!
